On Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019, Georgia Mae Robins, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, left this earth to be with our Lord and Savior at the age of 92.
Georgia was born April, 18, 1927, in Advance, Missouri, to Lawrence and Eula Williams. She met the love of her life, Thomas Lincoln Robins, and was married Feb. 2, 1946.
She was a loving wife and mother of six children: Barbara Sue, Jackie Ray, Patsy Ann, Thomas Eugene, Larry Keith and Kevin Dewitt.
Georgia was a homemaker for most of her life. In her younger years, she loved to bowl with her husband in their bowling league. After raising her beloved children, Georgia’s greatest pastime was reading and doing needlepoint. She would often get a book and finish it the same day. She would make beautiful quilts for family and friends.
She was very strong in her faith and loved to go to church to worship and sing. She often had her gospel music playing and would sing and celebrate in her home.
Those who really knew her, also knew her favorite thing to do was talk on the phone. She would spend as much time as possible talking to family and friends, and her laughter would fill the room with joy. Her face would light up every time the phone rang! She was a very compassionate and caring person who would do anything for anyone. She loved people.
She was a huge baseball fan and loved to watch her beloved St. Louis Cardinals play.
