DEXTER -- Georgia Mae Harvey, 41, of Columbia, formerly of Bernie, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 1997, at her home.
She was born on April 9, 1956, at Crawfordsville, Ark., daughter of Love and Annie Mae Smith.
She lived in Bernie before moving to Columbia 12 years ago. She was a graduate of Bernie High School and a member of St. Paul Methodist Church in Columbia.
She married Ronnie Harvey on April 27, 1995.
Survivors include her husband; her mother of Bernie; a daughter, Shelly Coats of Columbia; five brothers, Edward Kelly of Columbia, and Williette and Eddie Smith and Paul and Willie Prather, all of Malden; four sisters, Paulette Cole of Marion, Ind., Jeanette Hatcher of Indianapolis, Barbara Thomas of Jefferson City and Deloris Smith of Malden; and a granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her father and a daughter.
Friends may call at Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with the funeral at noon at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Paul Neal will officiate, with burial in the Macedonia Cemetery at Malden.
