GEORGE W. SMITH SR.

Funeral service for George W. Smith Sr., 1105 Linden, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Johnny Thomas will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Friday.

Smith, 76, died Sunday, March 26, 1995, at his home.

Survivors include a son, Clarence Smith of Bellwood, Ill.; three daughters, Mildred Coleman of Indianapolis, Ind., Mae Stokes of Milwaukee, Wis., Eva Smith of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Mildred Smith of Altheimer, Ark., and 34 grandchildren.
