GEORGE U. SULLIVAN

SIKESTON -- Funeral service for George Ulis Sullivan of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Marvin Butrum will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Sullivan, 95, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born June 10, 1898, in Missouri, son of Jonas and Martha Ellen Hornback Sullivan. He and Florence Cohen were married Oct. 3, 1958, at Sikeston. She died Feb. 9, 1988.

Sullivan was a farmer.

Survivors include three stepsons, John and Benny Cohen Sr. of Sikeston, Francis Cohen of East Prairie; three stepdaughters, Bea Dalinis of Brookfield, Ill., Ruby Tolbert of Morley, Betty Hobson of Broadview, Ill.; 22 stepgrandchildren, and 44 great-stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
