CAIRO, Ill. -- George Edward Porter, 56, of Cairo died Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Friends may call from noon until service time Saturday at Jesus is Lord Church in Cairo. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Hubert Pirtle, pastor, officiating. Interment will be Monday in Mound City National Cemetery in Mound City, Illinois...
