SIKESTON, Mo. -- George Allen Orr, 47, died Friday, Aug. 6, 2004, at his home.

He was born March 13, 1957, at Lepanto, Ark. He had been a truck driver for Breeden Enterprises for 18 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Morehouse.

Surviveors include his parents, George W. Orr of Sikeston and Ella Williams Bates of Morehous, Mo.; four sons, George Orr, Robert Orr, David Orr and Dallas Orr, all of Sikeston; a daughter, Susie Orr of Sikeston; six sisters, Janice McQueen of Copperas Cove, Texas, Brenda Stinnett and Julie Lutes, both of Morehouse, Alice Conner of Harrisburg, Ark., Patricia Carmack of Sikeston, Rebecca Orr of Vandalia, Mo.; and three stepbrothers, Terry, Donald and Scott Gordon, all of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by a stepbrother.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Randy Conn and J.D. McClard officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
