FLINT, Mich. -- George T. Kaiser, 65, of Flint, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died Thursday, April 21, 2005, at Genesys Health Park in Grand Blanc Township, Mich.
He was born Aug. 12, 1939, in Sikeston, son of Harvey and Lou Hyatt Kaiser. He and Gayle Findley were married June 24, 1960, in New Jersey. She died Sept. 13, 1999.
Kaiser had worked for General Motors Co. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member and past master of the Fellowship Lodge 490. He was a member of the Elf Khurafeh Shriners and a member and past governor of Kishma Grotto. Kaiser was also a member of UAW Local 649 and owned and operated G&G Enterprises.
Survivors include a daughter, Lorie Marks of Grand Blanc, Mich.; two brothers, Enoch Kaiser Jr., of Murray, Ky., Marion Kaiser of Byron, Mich.; four sisters, Myra Creamer of Festus, Mo., Evelyn Ronkoski of Miner, Mo., Lue Howell of Sikeston, Sybil Lasater of Murray; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and two sisters.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Kelley Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
