GEORGE J. HOTOP

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- George J. Hotop, 66, of Perryville died Friday March 23, 200l, at Perry Oaks Manor.

He was born April 2, 1934, at McBride, Mo., son of Anton Joseph and Louise Pingel Hotop.

He worked on the assembling and packing line at VIP Industries-Sheltered Workshop.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He participated in the Special Olympics. He was a resident of Perry Oaks Manor for 28 years.

Survivors include a brother, Cletus Hotop of Perryville; two sisters, Leola Perry of Dallas, Texas, and Irma Ann Parker of Springfield, Mo.; guardian Ginger (Mrs. Rod) LaRose of Perryville; and 34 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Service will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in St. Maurus Catholic Cemetery at Biehle, Mo.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel today between 4 and 8 p.m. and Monday between 6:30 and 9:30 a.m. A prayer service will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
