GRAVEL HILL -- George H. Kelly, 73, of Gravel Hill, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 1991, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born at Iron City, Tenn. on July 14, 1917, to the late Tom and Ola Kelly.
He married Reba Christine Burnett at Kennett on November 5, 1941. She survives.
He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II, and he was a heavy construction laborer for the Millstone Construction Company in St. Louis, retiring in 1976.
He moved to Gravel Hill in 1979 and belonged to the Cape Girardeau VFW.
Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Janice Georgetta Webb of Marble Hill; one brother, Joe Kelly of Florence, Ala.; two sisters, Gladys Anderton of Florence and Jane Gray of Huntsville Ala.; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Amick Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 5 p.m. today.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Earl Reinhart will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
