GEORGE GEPHART

EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Graveside service for George V. Gephart of East Prairie will be held at 1 p.m. today at East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery. Bob Williams will officiate.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie from 11 a.m. until service time.

Gephart, 41, died Monday, July 10, 2000, at University Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

He was born July 14, 1958, in Philadelphia, N.J., son of Kedron H. and Merna Gephart. He and Angelica Valdez were married in 1980.

Gephart was a mechanic and truck driver.

Survivors include his wife; five sons, Christopher, Joseph, George Jr., Matthew and Johnathan Gephart, all of East Prairie; two daughters, Christina Perez and Sharon Shands of East Prairie; his mother, Merna Harrington Lloyd of Corona, Calif.; three brothers, William, Joseph and Kedron Gephart of Corona; a sister, Erin Gephart of East Prairie; and two grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his father.
