EAST PRAIRIE -- George Bryant, 75, of East Prairie, died Friday, Aug. 12, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born April 18, 1919, in Caruthersville, son of Rich and Susie Bryant. Bryant was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, Geneva; four sons, Earnest Bryant of Seattle, Wash., Earl, Tony and Sylvester Bryant of the home; two daughters, Georgia Boyd of Charleston, Mary Swan of Chicago; two stepsons, Sammy Cox of Florida, Leonard Cox of Alamo, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Ann Cox of Chicago; a sister, Ruth Sisson of Chicago; 21 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.. ...

Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. T.R. Tyus officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
