PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Geneva L. Hughey, 74, of Perryville died Friday, March 25, 2005, at her home. She was born March 29, 1930, in Perryville, daughter of John F. and Anna M. Kaiser Bangert. She and John "Ed" Hughey were married Jan. 31, 1947. He died May 28, 1975...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Geneva L. Hughey, 74, of Perryville died Friday, March 25, 2005, at her home.

She was born March 29, 1930, in Perryville, daughter of John F. and Anna M. Kaiser Bangert. She and John "Ed" Hughey were married Jan. 31, 1947. He died May 28, 1975.

Hughey was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Berean Bible Class and VFW Auxiliary 4282.

Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Hester of Cape Girardeau, Fern Weibrecht of Perryville; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and on Tuesday from 6:30 to 9 a.m.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Christopher Cole officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
