WILSON CITY -- Geneva Hampton, 74, of Wilson City, died Saturday, May 13, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Sept. 7, 1920, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of Dennis and Ivory Newhouse Neal.

Hampton was a member of Holly Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Julia Tate of Charleston, Charlene Reed of Wilson City; a brother, Dave Neal of Wilson City; five stepsons, Roychester Armstrong of Charleston, Milen Armstrong of Racine, Wis., Perry Bailey of Louisiana, Ezekiel Hampton of Mound City, Ill., Alonzo Hampton of Fort Wayne, Ind.; four stepdaughters, Lizzie McCain of Mt. Vernon, Ill., Vera Washington of Racine, Annie Pratt of Tamms, Ill., Elizabeth Shannon of Pulaski, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; numerous stepgrandchildren and great-stepgrandchildren.

Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston from 6-7 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shiloh Baptist Church, with the Rev. Roosevelt Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
