ANNA, Ill. -- Geneva Bohannon, 82, of Anna, Ill., died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002, at her daughter's home in Smyrna, Tenn. She was born Dec. 31, 1920, in Busa, Ill., daughter of John T. and Sarah Caroline Bragg Mowell. She and Albert Bohannon were married Jan. 23, 1937, in Royalton, Ill. He preceded her in death Dec. 1, 1999...

ANNA, Ill. -- Geneva Bohannon, 82, of Anna, Ill., died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002, at her daughter's home in Smyrna, Tenn.

She was born Dec. 31, 1920, in Busa, Ill., daughter of John T. and Sarah Caroline Bragg Mowell. She and Albert Bohannon were married Jan. 23, 1937, in Royalton, Ill. He preceded her in death Dec. 1, 1999.

Bohannon was a member of the Anna Church of the Nazarene. She operated a grocery store for many years.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Birckbichler of Smyrna, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel with the Revs. Ralph Lee and John Ruzich officiating. Burial will be in the Anna City Cemetery.
