Gene Mouser

Gene “Butch” Mouser was born Feb. 16, 1949, at Marquand, the son of Elmer and Roseda Mouser, and passed away Saturday, March 21, 2024, at the age of 75 years.

Butch was preceded in death by his parents; his former wife, Carol (Myers) Mouser; son, Jamey Mouser; and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

He is survived by his wife, Clara Mouser; three sons, Timothy (Melody) Mouser, Jeremy (Lori) Mouser and Steven (Angie) Mills; daughter, Sheri (Stephen) Wade; two brothers, Ronnie (Gail) Mouser and Ed (Donna) Mouser; sister, Barb Mouser; nine grandchildren, Drake (Allison) Mouser, Kaden Mouser, Allyson Mouser, Grant Mouser, Cecilia Mills, Michael Mills, Harper Mills, Arial Johnson and Stephanie Wright; great-grandchild, Richard Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.

Butch was a member of Trace Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed farm shows, tractors, helping neighbors, mowing and spending time with his family and friends.
