MARBLE HILL -- Gene H. "Mose" Johnson, 78, of Marble Hill died Friday, March 10, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 9, 1922, near Glen Allen, son of James F. and Bessie Thompson Johnson. He was a member of the Glen Allen Baptist Church and a retired school bus driver for Woodland School District.
He and Lucille Guinn were married on July 11, 1974.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Sharon Moore of Duncan, Okla., Susan Perry of Monroeville, Pa., and Debra Estep of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one stepson, Gale Deckard of Pocahontas; two stepdaughters, Kay Bell of Cape Girardeau and Jessie Kimbel of Jackson; one brother, Joe Johnson of Marble Hill; two sisters, Verne and Betty Johnson, both of Glen Allen; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, two brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
