DEXTER -- Gene England, 67, of Dexter died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at his home.
He was born Oct. 19, 1932, at Painton, son of Robert Adolph and Lottie Mae Fish England. He and Linda Lucille Harper were married Dec. 22, 1951, at Dexter.
England was a maintenance worker and carpenter at Collins Development in Sikeston. He lived in the Dexter area all his life and was a member of Faith Fellowship Church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Linda Courter of Dexter, Jean Sanders of Huntsville, Texas; a sister, Della Wiseman of Dexter; five granddaughters; and two great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, and three brothers.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Karen Oldham officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery.
