SIKESTON - Gene C. Binford, 57, of 101 Maplewood in Sikeston, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 1992, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Aug. 11, 1935, in Matthews, Mo., son of Samuel and Inez Williams Binford.
He married Gloria A. Clay on Nov. 11, 1955, in Sardis, Miss.
Binford was a retired farmer and lifelong resident of Sikeston.
He was a member of the Fist United Methodist Church of Sikeston and the Sikeston Eagles Aries No. 3319.
Survivors include his wife, mother, one sister, Gayle Taylor of Hendersonville, Tenn., two nieces and five nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and one daughter.
Friends may call at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be held at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. on Monday, with the Rev. Charles E. Buck, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
