MARBLE HILL -- Gary E. Rambo, 41, of Imperial died Sunday, July 26, 1998, when a trench collapsed in an Imperial subdivision.
He was born Dec. 21, 1956, in Cape Girardeau, son of Tommy Elwood and Bernadine Sitze Rambo. He and Vicky Jo Robins were married Aug. 30, 1975.
Rambo was employed at Chrysler Corp. in Fenton. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Arnold.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sara Rambo of the home; his mother, Bernadine Alexander of Jefferson City; stepmother, Ida Rambo of El Paso, Texas; a brother, Richard "Rick" Rambo of St. Louis; and a sister, Diana Koch of Meta.
Friends may call at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home in Pevely from 3-8 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 7:30, with the Rev. Pat Singleton officiating.
Friends may also call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Liley Funeral Home, with the Revs. Randy Poole and Pat Singleton officiating. Burial will be in Glen Allen Cemetery.
