Gary McCormick

Gary Wayne McCormick, 59, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, at his home.

He was born July 13, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, to Edward and Eleanor Moore McCormick. He and Cindy Wahl were married Aug. 4, 1973, in Cape Girardeau.

Gary was a graduate of Central High School. He was owner of Roommates. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and HOG.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy McCormick of Cape Girardeau; a son, Kyle McCormick (Lindsey Durant) of St. Louis; a daughter, Amber Gossage (Matthew) of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Edward McCormick of Cape Girardeau, Larry McCormick of Arizona City, Ariz.; and mother-in-law, Rita Wahl of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call 10 a.m. to service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Hulshof officiating.
