JONESBORO, Ill. -- Gary Kent Goins, 52, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, May 10, 1995, at his home.
He was born May 18, 1942, in Villa Ridge, son of Theodore D. and Hazel Windings Goins. He and Peggy West were married Sept. 18, 1978, in Cape Girardeau.
Goins was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Dongola and Labor Local 1330 in Anna.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Gary Goins Jr. of Jonesboro; three daughters, Gayla Davidson of Cobden, Kathy LeFevre of South Roxana, Amy Goins of the home; his mother of Dongola; four brothers, Ted Goins of Jonesboro, Robert and Glen Goins of Anna, Eddie Goins of Dongola; six sisters, Wanda Carson, Cynthia White, Betty Schultz, Joyce Cameron and Lucille Temke of Dongola, Wilma Roach of Anna, and six grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the United Pentecostal Church in Dongola. The Revs. Charles Gray, Russell Strange and Danny Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Anna City Cemetery.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 5 p.m. today, and at the church Saturday from 11 a.m. to service time.
