Gary W. Huff, 61, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, June 1, 2007, at his home.
He was born Nov. 19, 1945, in Cape Girardeau, son of Claude and Myrtle Poe Huff. He and Eugenia "Jean" Rezabek were married June 21, 2003, in Chaffee, Mo.
Huff graduated from Central High School in 1964. He worked in the steel mills in Indiana and then served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He lived in St. Charles, Mo., and worked in construction. He moved back to Cape Girardeau in 2001.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Cheryl Holmstrom of St. Peters, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Robin Block of Carmel, Ind., Michelle Saffo of St. Charles; two sisters, Della Moore of Florissant, Mo., Pat Stull of Cape Girardeau; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Poe officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park with full military rites by Missouri Honor Team.
