CHARLESTON -- Gary DeLane Files, 41, of Charleston, died Saturday, April 23, 1994, at his residence. He was born July 25, 1952, at Charleston, son of Cletus and Thelma Donaldson Files. CHARLESTON -- Gary DeLane Files, 41, of Charleston, died Saturday, April 23, 1994, at his residence.

He was born July 25, 1952, at Charleston, son of Cletus and Thelma Donaldson Files.

He married Darlene Richardson, March 3, 1973.

Files lived in Mississippi County all his life. He was a member of the Charleston National Guard and the Southside Baptist Church.

Survivors include his father of Belleville, Ill.; his mother of Charleston; his wife; a son, Gary Don Files of Charleston; and a daughter, Lori Beth Files of Charleston.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Raymond Hannah officiating.

Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Charleston.
