GARY BARKS

SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Gary Dean Barks, 47, of Sedgewickville died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 1997, at his home, following an illness.

He was born July 2, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, son of Wilbur "Wib" and Ruth Conrad Barks. He and Marion Ann Keeth were married Aug. 7, 1987.

Barks was a farmer, and member of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Cristina Willocks of Sedgewickville; a stepson, Bob Joseph of Portland, Ore.; his father and stepmother, Wilbur and Jane Barks of Patton; two sisters, Karen Statler of Sedgewickville, and Tammy Kern of West Palm Beach, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 4-8 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Grant Gillard officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery near Sedgewickville.
