MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Garry L. "Lenny" Hicks, 57, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at his home.
He was born Feb. 8, 1964, in Dexter, Missouri, to Joseph E. and Edith C. Cowan Hicks.
He and Rebecca Hoover were married Aug. 21, 1990, in Jackson. She survives.
Garry enjoyed mudding at Brick's Off Road Park in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He loved being with family, especially spending time with grandkids and going cross-country in a semi with his son.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Hicks of Marble Hill; three sons, Matthew Hicks of Florida, Gary (Danielle) Hicks Jr. of Marble Hill and Blake Hicks of Marble Hill; four brothers, Harold Hicks of Cape Girardeau, Eddie Hicks of Dexter, Mike (Teresa) Hicks of Fairmont, Minnesota, and Mark Hicks of Bonne Terre, Missouri; two sisters, Freda Cox and Phyllis Lemons, both of Dexter; four grandchildren, Dawson, Jadyn, Kamryn and Emma; and numerous adopted kids and grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Freddie Hicks; and sister, Darlene Busby.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
There will be no funeral service.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with funeral expenses.
