MARBLE HILL -- Gale O. White, 73, of Mehlville died Monday, March 2, 1998.
He was born June 29, 1924, in Oklahoma. He married Christine Wright.
White moved to Marble Hill from Oklahoma in the late 1950s. He taught English at Woodland Junior High School five years, and was also pastor at the Assembly of God Church in Advance.
He then moved to Mehlville where he was a teacher and then principal, retiring in 1988.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Vicki Davis, Gina Ivie; a son, Barry White; and grandchildren.
Friends may call at Kutis South County Chapel from 4:30-9 p.m. today, and Thursday at People's Church in Arnold from noon until service time.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in National Cemetery in St. Louis.
