BLODGETT -- Gale Riley, 60, of Blodgett died Sunday, Dec. 15, 1996, at his home.
He was born Feb. 14, 1936, at Blodgett, son of R.R. and Annie Laura Oldham Riley. He and Patricia Holtermann were married Aug. 20, 1961. She died Jan. 7, 1994.
Riley owned a Union 76 service station in Wasco, Calif., moving back to Blodgett in 1985.
Survivors include two sons, Steven and Kevin Riley of Wasco; four daughters, Cheryl Beggs of Blodgett, Lori Riley of Wasco, Karen Riley and Jennifer Riley of Blodgett; four brothers, Roy Riley of Sikeston, Dean, Richard and Dale Riley, all of Blodgett; two sisters, Earline Foster and Ruby Hurst of Blodgett; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Amos Johnson officiating. Burial will be private in Blodgett Cemetery.
