SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Funeral for Emily Gail Pickett of Jefferson City, Mo., will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Larry Lawman will officiate. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
Pickett, 54, died Monday, March 18, 2002, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
She was born March 3, 1948, at Bell City, Mo., daughter of Leonard Lester and Lynn May Jones Workman. She and Dale Pickett were married Nov. 29, 1966, at Scott City.
Formerly of Scott City, Pickett moved to Jefferson City 20 years ago. She was a clinical assistant to Dr. Joseph Kayser.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Terence Pickett of Jefferson City; her mother, Lynn Deimund of Scott City; a brother, Eddie Workman of Scott City; three sisters, June DeLay of Sikeston, Mo., Velda Anderson of Morley, Mo., and Dottie Jungers of Scott City.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.
