ORAN -- -- Gail Dean Davenport, 57, of Taegu, Korea, died Friday, April 7, 1995, in Taegu.

He was born Feb. 16, 1938, in Osceola, Ark., son of Ira and Dorothy McCray Davenport. He and Kim Mai Su were married Dec. 18, 1990, in Seoul, Korea.

Davenport was a program analyst with the Department of the Army. He had been in Korea almost 11 years, moving from Memphis, Tenn.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Danny Davenport of Memphis; a daughter, Anna Davenport of Memphis; a stepson, Kwak Jung Chol of Taegu; a sister, Kaye Catlett of Palestine, Ark., and two grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Friend Cemetery in Oran. The Rev. Jerry Williams will officiate.

There is no visitation.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Oran is in charge of arrangements.
