Gail Annette Love Edwards, 28, of Valley Park, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 1992 at St. Anthony Medical Center in St. Louis.
She was born in Cape Girardeau Dec. 30, 1963, daughter of Henry Love and Geraldine Love. She survives of Cape Girardeau.
She attended St. Mary's Cathedral School and graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School in 1982. She also graduated with honors from Southeast Missouri State University and earned a masters degree from St. Louis University.
She was employed as a financial analyst at Ralston-Purina in St. Louis and was a CPA. Previously she had worked at K-Mart and St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau and at Peat-Marwick-Mitchell Accounting Firm in St. Louis. She was a member of St. Mary Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.
On July 11, 1987, she married Tim Edwards, who survives of Valley Park.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by two brothers, Gerald Love, Omaha, Neb., Henry Love, St. Louis; five sisters, JoAnn Gillis, Woodbridge, Va., Hannah Love, St. Louis, Glenda Burch, Omaha, Neb., Jennifer Lyons, St. Louis, Jeanne Livers, Cape Girardeau; 16 nieces and nephews.
Friends may call today from 6-8 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. Parish prayers will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau with the Rev. Richard Rowling officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
