Gael Noble Florea, 62, of Columbia, Mo., died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at his home.
He was born Dec. 10, 1938, in Maryville, Mo., son of Noble W. and Marie Fine Florea.
Florea was an engineer at McDonnell Douglas and retired in 1990. He served 29 years in Aero Space and Aircraft and was a member of the Thurman Weldon Band.
Survivors include one son, Stephen Florea of Broken Arrow, Okla.; one daughter, Michele Flynn of Columbia; one brother, Rollie Florea of Grand Prairie, Texas; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Saturday at Nilson Funeral Home in Columbia.
Funeral will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Ron Swaringim will officiate.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hopkins Christian Church in Hopkins, Mo. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Hopkins Cemetery.
