CHARLESTON -- Gerald Dorothy Kitchen, 72, of Charleston, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 1993, at her home.
She was born Dec. 26, 1920, in Columbus, Ky., daughter of William and Ruth Webster Knox. She married Eddie Kitchen.
Kitchen was a member of Perry Chapel AME Church and its Usher and Stewardess Boards.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Bobby Knox of Charleston, Rodney Kitchen of Columbia; a daughter, Lynnette Kitchen of Sikeston; two sisters, Louise Pullins of Charleston, Gladys Lowe of Chicago, and three grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Perry Chapel Church. The Rev. Joe Travis will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. Friday.
