FRITZ HECKATHORN

SCOTT CITY -- Fred A. "Fritz" Heckathorn, 42, of Scott City, formerly of Sedgewickville, died Monday, May 4, 1998, at his home.
He was born June 6, 1955, in Freeport, Ill., son of the Rev. Fred and Anna Young Heckathorn.
Heckathorn was a 1973 graduate of Meadow Heights High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University.
He was employed by Manpower in Cape Girardeau, and had worked 20 years at Gilster-Mary Lee in Perryville. He was a member of Sedgewickville Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his mother of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Mary Savoy of Cape Girardeau, Ruth Heckathorn of Springfield, Ill., and Esther Bohnert of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Burial will be in Lixville Cemetery near Sedgewickville.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 11 a.m. until service time.
