FRIEDA V. KIRN

PERRYVILLE -- Frieda V. Kirn, 84, died Thursday, July 2, 1992 at the American Care Nursing Center in Perryville.

She was born Jan. 4, 1908 in Ste. Genevieve County, daughter of Frank X. Gegg and Sophia Schmelzle Gegg.

She married George W. Kirn on Oct. 6, 1930 at Weingarten. He survives.

Other survivors include three daughters, Kathleen Paulus, Carol Klaus, and Jeanette Hoch, all of Perryville; six sons, Gerald Kirn, Harold Kirn, Wayne Kirn and Terry Kirn, all of Perryville, Donald Kirn of Cape Girardeau and Roger Kirn of Round Lake Beach, Ill.; a brother, Clement Gegg of Ste. Genevieve; two sisters, Elviera Kirn of Perryville and Leona Kirn of Huntington Beach, Calif.; 27 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Ladies Sodality of St. Vincent DePaul Church of Perryville.

Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Vincent DePaul Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Charles Rice officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Miller Family Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. today. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. today.
