Frieda Rose Schott, 92, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, May 26, 2005, at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 24, 1912, in Old Appleton, Mo., daughter of Hugo and Victoria Unterreiner Wucher.
She and Theodore Schott were married April 25, 1933, in Apple Creek, Mo. He died Dec. 7, 1977. She was a member of St. Mary Cathedral and the church's Women Sodality group as well as Whipporwill Card Club of Cape Girardeau County.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Burger of Kelso, Mo., Patricia Welter of St. Louis; three sons, Charles Schott of Cape Girardeau, Edgar Schott of O'Fallon, Mo., Richard Schott of Benton, Ky.; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, five sisters and a grandchild.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home with parish prayer at 7 p.m.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Cathedral, with the Rev. Tom Kiefer officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
