OLD APPLETON -- Frieda Schnurbusch, 80, formerly of Old Appleton, died Thursday, March 28, 1996, at Surrey Place Nursing Center in Chesterfield. She was born Aug. 28, 1915, at Old Appleton, daughter of Louis F. and Louise E. Meyr Wibbenmeyer. She and Rudolph S. Schnurbusch were married Oct. 18, 1938, at Apple Creek. He died June 2, 1988...

OLD APPLETON -- Frieda Schnurbusch, 80, formerly of Old Appleton, died Thursday, March 28, 1996, at Surrey Place Nursing Center in Chesterfield.

She was born Aug. 28, 1915, at Old Appleton, daughter of Louis F. and Louise E. Meyr Wibbenmeyer. She and Rudolph S. Schnurbusch were married Oct. 18, 1938, at Apple Creek. He died June 2, 1988.

Schnurbusch was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Graham of Florissant; a son, Larry Schnurbusch of Creve Coeur; two brothers, Leo Wibbenmeyer of St. Louis, Albert Wibbenmeyer of Farmington; four sisters, Bertha Schnurbusch, Paula Masidonski and LaVerne Menderski of St. Louis, Lorraine Buchheit of Old Appleton, and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30-10 a.m. The parish wake service will be at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Church, with the Rev. Terry Borgerding officiating. Burial will be in Apple Creek Cemetery.
