Frieda Ruff, died June 21, 1993, in Jacksonville, Ark., at the age of 104.
She was born Aug. 22, 1888, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Herman and Julia Amelunke.
She married William P. Ruff in 1908. He died in 1956.
Survivors include four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, two brothers and two sisters.
For the past 2 years, she has been residing with her granddaughter, Lee June Chandler, in Jacksonville.
In 1959, she moved from Cape Girardeau to Yazoo City, Miss. She was a member of St. Marks Eastern Star Chapter #167 in Cape Girardeau, and was a past matron of the Eastern Star.
She also was a member of the White Shrine Chapter No. 8 in Cape Girardeau.
She had been in failing health since October.
There will be a prayer service at 2 p.m. Saturday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Sam Roephemeyer officiating.
Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at McComb's Funeral Home.
There will be an Eastern Star services at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
