FRIEDA A. BUCHHEIT

OLD APPLETON -- Frieda A. Buchheit, 84, of Old Appleton died Saturday Feb. 1, 1992, at American Care Nursing Center in Perryville.

She was born Aug. 4, 1907, in Old Appleton, the daughter of Joseph F. and Ida A. Ponder Buchheit. On Aug. 27, 1940, she married Herman J. Buchheit, who preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Western Catholic Union and St. Joseph Ladies Organization at Apple Creek.

Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Buchheit and Judith Baer, both of Perryville; a brother, Rudolph Buchheit of St. Louis; three sisters, Rosella Fachse of Cape Girardeau, Clara Meyer of St. Louis, and Tillie Pentecost of Louistown, Mont.; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three step, great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A wake service will be at 7 p.m. today, and funeral mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Church in Apple Creek. The Rev. John Bolderson will officiate, and burial will be in Apple Creek Cemetery.
