Freida Bohnsack

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Freida C. Bohnsack, 94, of Advance passed away Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, at Woodland Hills Nursing Home in Marble Hill, Missouri.

She was born Jan. 15, 1927, in Greenbriar, Missouri, the daughter of William "Bill" Newell and Clara Marie Harris.

Frieda spent her life as a homemaker. She worked for over 30 years at Inland Shoe Factory in Advance. She was a lifetime member of Ladd Chapel General Baptist Church.

Freida and Cleo C. Bohnsack were united in marriage Jan. 26, 1946, in Advance, and he preceded her in death Feb. 27, 1997.

Survivors include two sons, Clayton "Darell" (Dolores) Bohnsack of Jackson and Randal Bohnsack of Montgomery City, Missouri; two sisters, Versa Payne of Advance and Willie Eaker of Hazelwood, Missouri; two grandchildren, Chris and Craig; and four great-grandchildren, Clayton, Chase, Colton and Cohen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cleo; two sisters; two brothers; and daughter-in-law Debbie.

Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

A funeral service will be held at noon Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dusty Whittley officiating. Burial will follow at Bollinger County Memorial Park in Marble Hill.
