CANALOU -- Freddie Marie Masters, 80, of Canalou, died Monday, Feb. 22, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born March 4, 1912, in Portageville, daughter of William Lewis and Florence Agnes Lackey Masters. She and James Carter were married in 1927 at Portageville. He died in 1932.
Masters was a member of Canalou Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Frances Drake of Canalou; a brother, William Masters of Matthews; six grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers, four sisters and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Mike Cartwright will officiate, with burial in Matthews Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
