MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Freddie V. Buckner, 55, of Marble Hill died Saturday, June 22, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 1, 1947, in Ypsilanti, Mich., son of Vollmer and Frieda James Buckner. He and Carolyn Garland were married July 9, 1965.
Buckner was a truck driver. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sandy Brown of Jackson, Mo., Angie Thompson of Sedgewickville, Mo.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton, Mo. The Revs. Sam Brotherton and Jessie Long will officiate. Burial will be in Pulliam Cemetery near Marble Hill, with full military rites conducted by the Missouri Honors Team.
