Fred Wadlington, 83, of Scott City died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at his home.
He was born Aug. 6, 1919, at Blodgett, Mo., son of Robert Daniel and Laura Adell Dean Wadlington. He and Eva May Walter were married March 23, 1940. She died June 11, 1989.
Wadlington had been a driver with Elfrink Trucking Co.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Wadlington of Pine Bluff, Ark., Terry Wadlington of Perryville, Mo.; a daughter, Carolyn Wadlington of Scott City; a sister, Elva Sander of Fairview Heights, Ill.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, a sister, and three grandchildren.
There is no visitation.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Terry Eades will officiate.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
