Fred W. Thiele, 82, Cape Girardeau Route 1, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1993, at his home. He was born March 3, 1911, at Egypt Mills, son of Martin and Carolyn Margrat Thiele. He and Katy Sinn were married Oct. 5, 1958, at Egypt Mills. Thiele farmed, was manager of McSpadden Ranch 12 years, and then drove a school bus for Nell Holcomb School eight years. Fred W. Thiele, 82, Cape Girardeau Route 1, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1993, at his home.

He was born March 3, 1911, at Egypt Mills, son of Martin and Carolyn Margrat Thiele. He and Katy Sinn were married Oct. 5, 1958, at Egypt Mills.

Thiele farmed, was manager of McSpadden Ranch 12 years, and then drove a school bus for Nell Holcomb School eight years. He was a member of Scriptural Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Carl Thiele; two stepsons, David and Chester Hengst; a stepdaughter, Juanita Exler, all Cape Girardeau Route 1; two brothers, Ted Thiele of Cape Girardeau, Ed Thiele, Cape Girardeau Route 1; nine stepgrandchildren, and 11 great-stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, five brothers and four sisters.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Scriptural Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Richard Tragasz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
