FRED MOORE

BLOOMFIELD -- Fred Moore, 69, died Friday, Nov. 1, 1996, at the Bloomfield Nursing Center.

He was born Feb. 25, 1927 at Clines Island, son of the late William and Rhoda Stewart Moore. He married Mary Lou Haney on Sept. 26, 1947.

Moore was a lifelong resident of the Bloomfield area.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Smokey Moore of Bloomfield; a daughter, Barbara Lou Moore of Bellview, Fla.; two sisters, May Mayberry and Jewell Mayberry, both of Bloomfield; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Funeral services will be Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dean Phillips of Bloomfield officiating. Burial will follow in the North Antioch Cemetery near Bloomfield.
