CAPE GIRARDEAU - Funeral service for Fred LaBruyere of Herndon, Va., will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at West Side Church of God. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery near Morley.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
LaBruyere, 75 years old, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 1991, in a Reston, Va., hospital.
He was born July 28, 1915, in Cape Girardeau, son of John and Jennie Masters LaBruyere. He married Ruby Boss March 15, 1938, in Illmo.
LaBruyere worked at Missouri Utilities many years, and had been a foreman at the water plant here. He moved to California, where he lived five years, and then moved to Virginia two years ago.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Larry LaBruyere of Virginia; three sisters, Alice Cannon of Cape Girardeau, Augusta Freeman of Midwest City, Okla., Daisy Holland of Fruitland, and two grandchildren.
