SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Fred Kenser of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home. Pat Hogan will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Cemetery near Morley. Kenser, 51, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 1995, at his home. He was born Dec. 20, 1943, in Sikeston, son of Louis and Elizabeth Austin Kenser. He and Patti Hosey were married Oct. 29, 1977...

SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Fred Kenser of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home. Pat Hogan will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Cemetery near Morley.

Kenser, 51, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 1995, at his home.

He was born Dec. 20, 1943, in Sikeston, son of Louis and Elizabeth Austin Kenser. He and Patti Hosey were married Oct. 29, 1977.

Kenser was a truck driver with Kellett Oil Co.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kelly Kenser of Cape Girardeau, Freddy Kenser of the home; three daughters, Melody Berkholz and Rita Schnelting of St. Clair, Elizabeth Kenser of the home; a brother, Melvin Kenser of Torrance, Calif.; two sisters, Judy Wills of Sikeston, Donna Lasters of Bertrand, and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
