ANNA, Ill. -- Fred Granay Hileman, 86, of Anna died Friday, Feb. 20, 1998, at Jonesboro Health Care Center in Jonesboro.
He was born June 10, 1911, at Mt. Pleasant, son of Gordon and Emma Granay Hileman. He and Annie Marie Penninger were married Sept. 23, 1933, at Lick Creek.
Hileman was a supervisor with International Shoe Co. more than 35 years. He was a member of Anna United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife; and a sister, Gladys Jones of Anna.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Joe Hankla and Richard Sullins officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery, with military rites by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455.
