BLOOMFIELD -- Fred Eugene Gross, 52, Bloomfield Route 3, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1995, at Dexter.
He was born April 16, 1942, at Kennett, son of Tom Henry and Eithel Mae Neldon Gross.
Gross was an elevator operator at Cargill Grain Co. in Dexter. He was a member of Hooe Baptist Church near Oran.
Survivors include a son, Warren Gross of Bloomfield; his father of Morley; five brothers, Grover Gross of Bloomfield, George Gross of Morehouse, Roy Gross of Blodgett, Steve Gross of Vanduser, Don Gross of Kansas City; a half brother, Tom Gross of Vanduser; six sisters, Sue Swan of Bloomfield; Vickie Wallace of Granite City, Ill., Gracie Stovall of Morley, Jane Groff and Reba Baker of St. Louis, and Betty Holland of Vanduser.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hooe Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bob Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
