CHARLESTON -- Fred Coleman Jr., 36, of Charleston, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 1996, at St. Louis University Hospital, from injuries received in an automobile accident Jan. 25 near Charleston.
He was born July 12, 1959, in Charleston, son of Fred and Estella Murray Coleman.
Survivors include a son, Johnathan Phillips; a daughter, Jenny Phillips, both of Charleston; his mother of Charleston; two brothers, Jarmain and Paul Coleman of Charleston; seven sisters, Rose Cleaves of Kansas City, Christine Murray, Joyce, Angela, Linda and Rene Coleman, and Delorse Bostic, all of Charleston.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. Monday.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Opportunity Church of God in Christ, with Pastor Steve Betts officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
