ANNA, Ill. -- Fred A. Tompkins, 85, of Anna, died Thursday, July 11, 1991, at 3:35 p.m. at the City Care Center in Anna. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Tompkins, Anna; a daughter, Ernestine Louise Wright, Anna; brother, Roy Tompkins, Anna; a sister, Mildred North, of Anna; and two grandchildren, Robert L. Wright, Anna, and Janice L. Wright, Carbondale; and two grandchildren...

He is survived by his wife, Gladys Tompkins, Anna; a daughter, Ernestine Louise Wright, Anna; brother, Roy Tompkins, Anna; a sister, Mildred North, of Anna; and two grandchildren, Robert L. Wright, Anna, and Janice L. Wright, Carbondale; and two grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Saturday. Burial was in the Anna Cemetery.
